There's a program out there know as the USBBS List or some such
that I think gets updated fairly often. It should be available
from places like SimTel maybe (check either the comm or info
directories).
I used to use it to check for boards in the local area.
I recently found a 1989 copy of the Recycler Classifieds when
cleaning my room. There were a few dozen BBSes advertised.
Today your lucky if you can find even one listed anywhere.
