Well, dunno bout the heat in your part of the world, be more than a usual
problem.  Manufacturers say they've designed the air case for proper
channelling of the air and it all works better if you leave the case closed
properly, yet I've known people who's CPUs had a heat problem and the
solution was to leave it wide open.  If your CPU was going to overheat, it
would have by now, and it would crash and shut down before it blew, I
suspect.  I've left my desktop running full speed ahead, 586 overdrive cpu
with a small fan, and even on very hot days it's fine, even with bad dust
and clutter all around outside and a monitor smack on top.  If you have a
good thermometer, you can put that in there to test the heat, max tolerance
is, IIRC, 185 degrees, but darn it, the books I'm studying neglected to say
farenhiet or celcius.  Bet it's F 'cause we're studying american books for
an american test and they still throw feet in with meters and inches with
millimeters and all that.
