Actually taking the computer apart, reseating the cards -- basically
taking them out and putting them properly back in again -- isn't that
time-consuming. Taking it to the dealer to get it done is probably
rather more time-consuming.

The system will come up in safe mode when it wasn't shut down properly.
That -may- be because it's rebooting itself in the middle of startup.
Um, you -are- shutting the thing down properly when you go to bed,
right? Not just flipping the power switch off? You gotta let 95 shut
itself down properly before shutting off the machine, of course.
If it ain't that, then it sounds suspiciously like a thermal and/or
power supply problem. The card-reseating thing might help. I had an
old 286 once had a similar problem. Turned out to have about a
half-inch of dust inside the power supply. It would try to start up,
overheat, shut itself down, cool off, boot up again, and so on.
Cleaning solved the problem.
Is the thing still under warranty or anything? If so, you can just dump
the problem back in the dealer's lap and say, "It's broke! Fix it!"
They love it when you do that under warranty. <grin>
