I am totally blind and can reseat cards. Theonly part of the machine that has to come off is the cover. I was taught by someone to do this. The screw holding the offending card has to be unscrewed, the card has to be gently manipulated until it snaps into place and then rescrewed. Then all those lovely screws holding the cover have to be rescrewed. It's also wise to examine the back of the computer, counting over slots and wires so you know exactly which card to fiddle with. I do not recommend more ellaborate attwmpts at maintenance without coaching. To unsubscribe from SURVPC send a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with unsubscribe SURVPC in the body of the message.
