Hi Folks -
Do any of you guys know of an English word meaning the opposite of
"append"? When we add some additional text to the end of a document
we are "appending" something to the document. Is there a word to
describe the action of adding some text to the top of a document?
There ought to be a word to describe this particular type of copy
and paste operation. I think "suprappend" would be a good word for
it, but it isn't in my dictionary.
