To an Englishman, perhaps.  I suppose that words such as preface and prefix
are better suited for an earlier era, or better still, more appropriate in a
literary or grammatical context.

Since "prepend" is apparently a creation of computer editing terminology,
only time will eventually allow for its inclusion with more common, general
usage.  The strong likelihood of the Internet's permanency will no doubt
necessitate the addition of these new word creations, don't you think?
