Now, there's something...  If command.com that I'm using is on c: and I do
a deltree /y c:\ (say because I'm planning to install something new and
don't feel like rebooting to bootable floppy first) will it be able to
delete the file it's using?  Will it complain that the file command.com is
in use, or is it sufficiently in ram to execute the command even though it
gets deleted before all of the drive is gone?  Will the deletion command
halt after command.com goes, or complete before the machine goes stupid?
I shoulda tried it, really.  I might yet, on one of my surplus systems.
