Thankyou, I did download it. I want him working only in text on that
machine so he doesn't think wp8 files can be read and worked with on it but
will just work in text on both machines and save the wp8 stuff for the
final polishing at home. He's had both an amiga and a mac to work on, but
is new to modern machines and so a bit illiterate. He wants to write on
the laptop at his cabin, and be able to transfer to the main w95 machine
for formatting and printing the documents. if he understands that he must
use .txt files any time he wants to work on the laptop it will save a lot
of confusion.
So, where would you suggest I begin looking for DOS3.30?
Then we still have to address the double density disks he needs, I've been
suggested that we can just take regular disks and cover the hole, but the
software needs to be put on by a modern machine. I *think* it can format
to that specification. We'll try that sometime soon.
