To the one who had trouble installing Win32s:
As I understand it Win32s adds _some_ 32-bit support to 16-bit Windows
(Windows 3.x). For installation you need a file named PW1118.EXE (2530739
bytes). You can get it from:
http://download.microsoft.com/download/plus/sample50/1/WIN/EN-US/Pw1118.exe
(also available from several FTP sites)
There is an article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q122/2/35.asp
This article contains information about Win32s and some links to other
related articles.
When run, the file PW1118.EXE unpacks into more than 50 installation files
(= make a new directory, copy the file there, run it and when installation
is completed you can easily get rid of all those junk files that are no
longer needed), one of the unpacked files I think bears the name SETUP.EXE.
Give it a double-click and from there on installation should be pretty
straightforward. Copying merely one or two files here or there into the
windows hieararchy is not likely to succeed, go for a full installation
from that SETUP.EXE.
