  On my system, 4DOS takes just 4K of conventional memory. How do you
get COMMAND.COM to take up less space than that?

  I went to the GNU project. Do I need all of those files, just to have
a replacement for COMMAND.COM? I'm probably missing something here, but
4DOS.COM is one file, just like COMMAND.COM is one file. Is there not a
Unix shell that is one file as well?
