That's true enough but if a machine has EMS or XMS then 4DOS's footprint
is rather small with secondary shells taking up only about 3K.
Although slower, 4DOS can also swap to disk.

I've been using it since version 3.x and couldn't live without it
(mostly because of aliases, had so many commands aliased to unix-like
that whenever I found myself on vanilla DOS I kept making mistakes).
