Actually, freewwweb does not require I.E. to be running like other
free services.
Somewhere on their site is a section where you can specify no browser
or some such. As a result it's ideal for Linux and I suppose DOS
(one company has partnered up with freewwweb and announced a free ISP
for Linux page - I believe it gives info on setting up manually).
Freewwweb can be setup like other ISPs once you get the necessary
info like DNS numbers and all that.

I might try it out, too, as the account I have now is borrowed
and my friend may move to DSL soon, cancelling this account.

Oh okay, found the message I saved before. If nothing else it might
give some info on how to get set up or use that might apply to DOS.
