Somebody on the Arachne mailing list said you could edit the cached file
while on line so as to change its name from https://www.blah.blah/blaw.html
to http://www.blah.blah/blaw.html. Then you reload the cached file. It
worked for him. Just because a web page purports to be a secure link
doesn't mean that it really is. I do not know if you can do something
similar with Nettamer and Bobcat/Lynx because these programs do not
automatically maintain their downloaded pages in a disk cache. You would
have to manually enter a command to save the web pages.

Also, somebody on the Arachne list stated that he has recently added a
a page without a secure link in order to facilitate signup for people
who use DOS browsers.

Good luck,

Sam Heywood
