Where in the following text, which I received the last time I subscribed, does it say
that Windows, including Windows95 is off topic?

*** About SurvPC Discussion List ***

The Purpose of This List:

Any discussions of older/obsolete/classic PC's,
low resource PC's, and DOS Internet.

Appropriate topics include but are not limited to:

* Older PC's: IBM PC and compatibles; PC/XT 8086, 8088,
  XT/AT 80286, 80386, and 80486.

* Low resource PC's: Earlier Pentium and above with
insufficient memory and/or hard drive space.

* DOS internet: Any DOS-based internet clients - So far
this is the most efficient way for "true survivor PC's"
  (8088/8086/80286) to access the internet.

Also RELATED operating environments/systems, software (in
general), hardware, pheripherals, troubleshooting,
tip & tricks, issues, etc.

-------

Most listmembers seem to see Windows as a Dosshell, not an operating system, and most
of them deal with computers running Windows9x or later quite often. I can not
see why a message about a Windows virus should be inappropriate here. There was a
similar message on the 78-rpm list I subscribe to, noone got hysteria even though
you certainly can not play this virus on a Victrola.

Most listmembers seem to be fans of a Microsoft product, with or without Windows...
