Er, don't you recall the slew of DOS-based virusen? You don't think DOS is
somehow magically immune, do you? Actually, the one platform I've yet to
find a successful virus for is (hehe) LINUX. (Well, OK. Secure OSen in
general.) Not that they don't have their share of security holes, exploits
and vulnerabilities. I've just not heard of a successful (made it to where I
can see it) virus.
I'm cheating a bit since the Great Internet Worm is generally considered
"not a virus".
So would you be upset if a DOS virus were announced here?
