Yes, by way of a script  (I can think of other and easier ways
to do my search and replace though <g>)

EDLIN myfile.txt. < EDLIN.SCR

This is explained in the edlin doc I mentioned. As said this seems to
be copied from the Dos 5 manual, except the part about scripts,
not found in the DOS 5 manual if memory serves. Copy of this in
the mail to you ( and you Eko :)

I remember one or the other of these sites offered one or more ready
to go batch files using edlin (in combination with debug :) for
search and replace.
