hi,
actually thisis not a modem thing.
my dectalk express connects
to the computer via a ceral prot
oups, port connection.
for some reason, the
software i am using needs ot
have the port baud rate set
for this. for example, right now,
the synthsizer i am usng,
not the one i am setting up, uses com 2.
in order for the data to be spoken
correctly, it must be set for 9600n,8,1,p
and it is this that my mode command is presently using.
i am guessing that to make a script,
i would save this as a text file with
thatname?
btw how does this differ from using a
bat file?

perhaps best of all how would i
set mode to run for both ports?
i may need it set so for a time.
thanks,
karen
