Yes, I know about all that. I do have the right driver. I load my driver
in the last line in CONFIG.SYS and then I load SHSUCDX in AUTOEXEC.BAT.
SHSUCDX doesn't work. If I load MSCDEX instead of SHSUCDX, that will work.
SHSUCDX is touted as a great replacement for MSCDEX, but it doesn't work
for me. MSCDEX does work, but it is a real memory hog. I thought I had
described the problem well in my original post.
