K5 IS a pentium class, but the AMD chipset/systems seemed to be remarkably
unstable in that generation, I recall hearing constant complaints and
requests for tech help on my various lists when that system was still new.
The k6-2 from AMD does not suffer same so I suppose they worked out the bugs.
Something to do with how it's built cheaply.
