A ventilator? You aren't using a fan? Or is it the same thing? It wasn't in
my dictionary. If you aren't using a fan than it's all your fault. However
I can't say I heard much good about AMD or Cyrix with their "Pentium
wannabees" anyway-
Many people (some still today) think that a fan isn't required. As soon as
you go above a 486 (and even on some of the faster 486's) you *will* need a
fan.

And speaking of AMD a K6-3 is better on floating point than a K6-2 (Pentium
II class perhaps?) and a Duron or a Thunderbird is even better (the later
outperfroms the Pentium IV in some tests).

BTW: The instruction set for a Pentium is almost identical to a 486.
