What is ``so much better'' about lsppp, besides it taking up rought 1/3 of
the ram of epppd? In my case, I have plenty of upper memory blocks to load
epppd in so that is not an issue, and the eppd chat dialer combination works
for more connections in more ways than any other driver-dialer combination
I have tried (including dialpc).

I get the feeling, not being a real programmer, that an initial program
loads either in conventional or upper memory. After that it uses either
conventional memory or XMS memory for buffering and processing temporary
data. Therefore, if you can get a TSR in upper memory, I conjecture that
it no longer deprives subsequent programs of the memory they need to do
their thing, yes?
