I meassure it in this way:

1. It works as a PPP packet driver (a PPP packet emulator actually). Both
have this.
2. It has support for PAP/CHAP and VJ compression. Both have this.
3. Uses little memory. LSPPP does this, EPPPD doesn't.
4. Works as a dialer. LSPPP works for some, EPPPD doesn't have this ability.

Oooh, I guess this can take on forever...
In short a program loads in conventional or high memory, stores whatever it
needs for it's TSR part in the same area (or tries to use high
automatically - Cute Mouse does that for instance). I don't think using
dynamically ammount of RAM is a wise choice for TSRs (some other program
might demand all of it resulting in weird problems). However using XMS
would make thme much smaller if many/large buffers are required. This was a
change I was planning to try for EPPPD 0.7 before releasing it (planned for
the 0.7 beta version actually).
And there's no use in trying to get me to restart on epppd 0.7 again. I
really don't have the time since I'll start work this week (at Ericsson
InfoTech and at the University of Karlstad). Nor do I have any useful
source left for 0.7 :(

BTW: I hate to repeat myself, but there's no point in sending to me *and*
to the list.
