Oh, yes it does.  Just make sure you attach it
to the same IDE interface on both computers.
Of course, if you are running X, you will need
a separate XF86Config file for each computer
(unless you have the same type of monitor/mouse
on both computers).  Just boot to the CLI and
startx with the appropriate XF86Config.
