Standard in the sense that Microsoft software is standard perhaps. However,
there ARE other machine architectures out there, and other approaches to
life. And not all fits neatly into the world of the 286 viewing pure ASCII
either. Tell a Sun UltraSPARC user that the x86 and PC keyboard layout is
standard, and they'll probably laugh.
