That's a good angle for advocates to pursue, at least in areas where it
applies. Therer's a case where it MAY make good economic sense to recycle
old systems by wiping drives, etc. If the cost of processing a machine to
prepare it for donation is less than that hauling charge, you'll have a
winner.
