Hi Day,
About "16 Bit Graphic Editors" of February 7:
MS> Is there a way to capture a browser palette so i can begin this

DB> I seemta remember Neopaint... ...that could adjust the palette...
`Gfx2' does that as well but one thing which i found may come quite
handy with `NeoPaint' is the tool for copying the colour of any existing
pixel. I can forget what was used all i want now, no more notes... :-)
DB> Unfortunately, it didnt do jpg...
I searched for ~JPEG~ 16-Bit SoftWare and wasn't lucky neither. It
would have helped to be able to take advantage of the True Colour format
(since i found `NetScape' isn't affected by .JPG graphics so far) but my
samples contain no Windows-like feature with "solid" greys, as i recall.
I was more lucky with the ~GIF~ format, it displayed some of the buttons
correctly when i chose a different colour handling option. "Auto" would
simply revert to the meshed model, i selected colour translation instead
but i would much prefer to get buttons which will display right ANYTIME.

I tried that with a button i had found which i thought was OKay but
all my efforts to "grow" the wanted greys were in vain. I think `Paint-
brush' is what i used and i believe this one resets the palette. I have
tried saving the palette, while the graphic file is still opened, euh...
There's a number of trics i tried but nothing sounds too natural and i'm
disapointed because no 16-Bit program has let me solve that problem yet.
I'm making slow progress, i'm learning but there's more to be done!
Salutations, :)
