You came to BL1 rather late. Perhaps some history would be helpful. BasicLinux started with two un-numbered versions and then hit 1.0, 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, 1.5, 1.6, 1.61, 1.7 and 1.8 in less than two years. The only dust that settled was on 1.8 (and that was partially because of you). BL2 is likely to go through a similar number of versions before any dust settles on it.
