Question 2 on the subject of vector effects in SVG 1.2 full: Concerning veUnion and veJoin, suppose we have separate SMIL animations on the "d" attribute of two different paths and then we affix those paths together with veUnion or veJoin -- do the subpaths retain their animations? I would assume not, but I would hope so. I've been thinking it would be nice to build an animation for a finger, one for an arm, attach the finger to an arm. the arm to a body, share or blend their outlines and fills, but allow each to continue with its own little SMIL choreography (relativized of course) as it is dragged about by a body that is perhaps driven by JavaScript. Do vector effects give us that?
