Me - 31
"Median Age" is determined by who is doing the statistical analysis
:)
Interesting problem: I found "Wings of Fury" for Gameboy Color used.
No mean feat. It was published by Red Orb (Br0derbund's entertainment
division I belive. Originally published by Br0derbund). Looked cool, but
they removed some of the "politically incorred" (e.g. fun) elements of the
game, such as strafing the ground after you bomb the machine gun nests.
Loaded the Apple ][ version on an emulator, but I couldn't take off from the
aircraft carrier (always wound up in the water). I can take off using the
keyboard (bleah) but not a joystick. I'm 99% sure I know why. Apple
joysticks (as were most all analogs) had a SQUARE recess, so you can move
both axes from edge to edge. Lots of today's joysticks have a ROUND recess,
which means you can't move the sticks to the extreme corners :) This is
verified by using Windows joystick calibration program (the joysticks won't
hit the extreme corners). Damn technology. I guess 3-d shooters don't need
the corners...
Devil's advocate: We all worship the oldies, and have fond memories
of playing them. But, any titles you've played for a thousand hours "way
back when" that you light up now and can't play for more than 10 minutes for
some non-technical reason? (bad controls, overly simplistic, etc.) Nah,
unthinkable.

Hahaha, that's a good idea. I'm curious about that. On the Wacky Packages
forum, I know the median age is 35, because the question comes up alot. But
what about here?
Chris - 36
Stuart - 27
C.E. - 28
