Flash (swf) content is not visible on iOS devices (and most likely never
will)

I suggest you use SWFObject to insert your swf files to your page and serve
up a gif/ static image version of your banner to iOS / Non Flash devices
(the mechanism of which to display is taken care of for you with alternative
content using SWFObject). Have a rad through the documentation / have a look
at  some of the examples.
