Hi Sal - Huh?
This arrived in your e-box because you subscribe to one of the lists to which it was sent. (Apparently this swlfest list.) This announcement is not sent to individual e-mail addresses. Therefore, I would need an e-mail address to correspond privately with each person who responds. This second part of the process is not done globally via any public list. Got it? :) 73 John > On Nov 15, 2017, at 5:14 PM, Sal Fili <salf...@yahoo.com> wrote: > > John: > > I would say that the fact that I received this email is a pretty good clue > that you have my email address on file. > > On the other hand, if you don't have someone's email on file, then how are > they supposed to receive this message and respond to your request to provide > their email address? > > So either you have my email address and therefore I received this message so > there is no need to respond with my email address, or you don't have my email > address and I never receive this message and do not know you need my email > address, which will net you zero additional email addresses for your records. > > Unless of course there is someone in this mailing loop who knows of a like > minded individual whose email address they believe you don't have, but they > do, and forwards this message to them. > > But, you neglected to ask your readers to do that. > > Just sayin' > > > On Wednesday, November 15, 2017, 4:58:56 PM EST, John Figliozzi > <jfigl...@nycap.rr.com> wrote: > > > Yes, it’s (already!) that time of the year again. > > We invite one and all to be a part of the 2018 Winter SWL Fest on > March 1, 2 and 3 at the Doubletree Guest Suites in fashionable > Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania.
