Hello, I am looking forward to the Fest, now under 15 weeks away!
I am planning once again on helping Dan Robinson with The Listening Lounge. I am sure Dan will setup some interesting radios for your listening pleasure. Besides the usual loop antenna and bits, I plan on bringing a recent radio purchase, an Icom IC-R8600. It is a SDR based radio with more traditional controls and very good HF performance. I am interested in comparing it to the much more expensive Icom IC-R9500 that has graced our modest listening post in past years. 73 Eric On Wed, 15 Nov 2017 16:58:22 -0500, John Figliozzi <[email protected]> wrote: > Yes, it’s (already!) that time of the year again. > > We invite one and all to be a part of the 2018 Winter SWL Fest on > March 1, 2 and 3 at the Doubletree Guest Suites in fashionable > Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania.
