Liip actually maintains its own OSX package (based on Entropy [1] ) which
includes all the extension we expect as a baseline for any project. Any thing
else would require separate documentation as part of the project setup. This
way we only have to figure out once how to add an extension, new team members
do not first have to recompile their PHP and there are less surprises for
development, especially since the package also includes a php.ini.
