i must admit i do not share the obsession to save keystrokes, but i just think 
its super inconsistent and ugly. frameworkextra isn't part of core for a 
reason. the current implementation of core.view is particularly confusing given 
that with the eager response PR i keep hearing this mantra that controllers 
should always return a Response, which is obviously not even true given the 
current state of things.
