thats same scary use of annotations :)

Then, are you suggesting that we remove annotation support for Doctrine and Validation? Because, frankly, I don't see any difference.

still i dont see why it wouldnt be cleaner to still return a response 
containing the dynamic parameters in this case and then simply populate the 
provided instance?

Can you give us an example of how it would work as I fail to see what you are proposing.
