Like Fabien mentioned, the key idea of Symfony2 is to help you convert a
request into response, core.view is yet another place the conversion can take
place, given it hasn't happened yet. I don't think we should remove

i must admit i do not share the obsession to save keystrokes, but i just think
its super inconsistent and ugly. frameworkextra isn't part of core for a
reason. the current implementation of core.view is particularly confusing given
that with the eager response PR i keep hearing this mantra that controllers
should always return a Response, which is obviously not even true given the
current state of things.
Bulat, independently of if you think its legit to "break the contract" to save
some keystrokes, dont you agree it would be useful to also be able to process redirect's
via core.view when using frameworkextra bundle for example to decide if a redirect even
makes sense for the given output format?
I will say it once more: the view is not just about the output format.
The ViewBundle does not resolve ALL view aspects, but just one of them.
