I'm even short-changing Lazarus a bit. Delphi has a large third-party market for visual controls that make up for any additional fanciness over the stock controls that Delphi comes with. Lazarus includes most of these stock controls. The MSEIDE project is also very active, and deserves a look by anybody wanting to do FPC based development using a sophisticated IDE.
