I understand now what the problem is. The code in the notify backend which enables localization is incomplete. setlocale() is missing. In the syncevolution.org binaries that call happens indirectly through the KDE platform module and therefore localization works. Now that I understand the root cause better, I can proceed with releasing the fix in 1.3.2. -- Best Regards, Patrick Ohly The content of this message is my personal opinion only and although I am an employee of Intel, the statements I make here in no way represent Intel's position on the issue, nor am I authorized to speak on behalf of Intel on this matter. _______________________________________________ SyncEvolution mailing list [email protected] http://lists.syncevolution.org/listinfo/syncevolution
