Piltdown, if you will recall, is also called "the man that never was." Sometimes I feel that there never were many people out there actively participating on this list, hence my skepticism that a move to another forum will help. In my couple years of subscribing to this list, I haven't seen that much activity. That doesn't bother me. It's just an observation. My secondary indirect point in that remark was that I am just waiting for the Neanderthal "finds" to be a hoax as well.
