I'm guessing that you will not likely get anything better with a
different handset.
Likely the problem is that you're well above the level that mobile
towers are aimed at. More likely towers are aimed at things that are
no more than 50 foot tall and that's likely the reason why you're
getting sub par performance in your high-rise.
