Centigram???? You cant be referring to TMobile...
As to the calling Customer Care, there may be several reasons... The IVR may not pass the info on correctly, the rep may have issues with his system and not get the "verified" note on his screen... Me personally, Id rather have the extra repeat then not have it at all..
