You will likely loose your grandfathered 2.99 t-zones if you change your plan. However there are loopholes that sometimes work. Call 611 and say cancel to the automated system. This will get you to retentions. Tell them what you want and see if they can help you. It is possible to change your plan without loosing grandfathered options but the regular CSRs don't know how or are unable to do so. Worst case they will not and you'll be stuck switching and loosing 2.99 T-zones (which btw also includes 30 MMS)
If you do switch the 4.99 t-zones does not include any SMS or MMS. Also the SMS packages are 300 or 1000 and if 300 isn't enough (since you have a total of 600 now) the 1000 SMS package is 6.99. However if you're interested unlimited SMS can sometimes be obtained from Retentions also which is 9.99.
