Thanks to all who responded to my post.

T-Mobile has replied to my written inquiry and I have posted it below.

Now, I just have to make a decision.

Cheers!

Thank you for taking the time to contact T-Mobile.

I understand your only concern with updating your rate plan is if the
feature for T-Zones for $2.99 with the 300 SMS/30MMS would still be
available. At this time our policy is that you may lock in to any
rate and keep that rate until you decide to change your plan.
Currently the promotional $39.99 1000 anytime minute with unlimited
nights plan has T-Zones for $4.99 and this feature does not include
the additional sms and mms in the bucket. Now if you are interested
in the night minutes you could add it to your current plan for
$4.99. If you would like the new promo plan then you would have to
pay for the sms feature which based on your usage I see that the
$6.99 1000 sms feature would cover your text messages. I reviewed
your picture messages and I don't see you use that feature so much.
If you wanted the new plan the picture messaging would be $.25 per
picture or $2.99 for 30 mms. I see based on what you are currently
paying and what you can get with the current plan you would come out
owing less each month with just adding the $4.99 unlimited nights
feature on your account. If you would like the new plan and have
everything that you have now you would be looking at the monthly
access of $39.99 + $6.99 sms + $4.99 t-zones + $2.99 for 30 picture
messages for a total prior to tax of $54.96. If you keep your
current plan you have the charge of $39.99 + $2.99 t-zones + ($4.99
unlimited night if you want this feature)= $47.97 before tax.
Basically you would save 6.99 by keeping your existing plan. I know
this is a lot of information to review, but I wanted to take the time
and give you a break down with both options so you can make a sound
decision. I hope that this will answer all of your questions for
you.

If you have any further comments, questions, or concerns feel free to
contact us at anytime.

Thank you for choosing T-Mobile. It's been my pleasure to assist you
today. Have a great day!

Sincerely,

Sarah
