I don't think it has anything to do with the voicemail conversion. Sometimes, I won't get text messages that indicate voicemail. For some reason, the system fails to send those text messages, or they are SEVERELY delayed, i.e. received the voicemail in the morning, and got the text message the next day. Happened a few times to me.
