A few weeks ago ,the week of July 4th (I think it might have been
either the 7th or 8th,I know I posted about it in some other forum)
my system switched over,I no longer get the SMS messages telling me I
have a voicemail (which more often than not failed to appear in a
timely fashion)-and get an instant notification that I have a
voicemail. The morning I had alot of trouble with voicemail and no one
who was calling that particular number was able to get through-it was
extremely frustrating as it happened to coincide with a day that I
was not in my office and was completely unreachable for an entire
morning via phone (my secretary had a great morning ! )-but now as
soon as I get a voicemail,I get the voicemail indicator icon, also on
my phone a screen pops up to let me know I have a new voicemail as
well.It was a frustrating experience, but in the end I am much happier
with this system.I've never been a big text message person,so I often
would miss the SMS for voicemail....
