MP3s are not a supported file type on the MMSC. You can change the file's
extention to one that is supported. Since the data is not changed you should
be able to name it back once received without any problems. You will have to
change the file back to an MP3 however.

I had already sent/received files to my phone, and it still deleted the 
MP3. 

Donna, if I rename a MP3 file to a .mid file, won't it change the 
format, and in turn change the way the music sounds?
