> You indeed *can* get a data cable for the 6030.

Well, in looking for a cable for it, I found the following response
from Nokia on a discussion board:

<<<We understand your inquiry with regards on where to locate a data
cord for your Nokia 6030 phone. We regret to inform you that there is
not a data cable available for your Nokia 6030 phone because it does
not have the capability to be used with a PC. We apologize for any
inconvenience that this has caused you. E-mail Specialist, Nokia
Inc.>>>

I have encountered other postings saying that the cable doesn't work
for everyone?! Boxwave wrote me when I inquired and said they do
have a Cellphone Data Cable for the 6030 for charging the device
directly via PC. They said "some" of their customers have found a
MobiMB software to be compatible. Another person on this board
posted the use of was it "PC Suite"? Are these programs *FREE*?

The phone manual has no instructions for a USB/Data Cable, but I
guess that's considered an "accessory", and so that explains why it's
not in there. (Accessories should be in manual, don't you think?
They'd sell more of them!)

Krazy's idea of uploading the MP3 to a website sounds very workable.
I can do that. I'm just afraid that when I attempt the download,
it'll delete it again!

Thanks to everyone for all their help here!

Mary
