MMS are limited to 300k, although many phones won't allow you to send
messages larger than 100k. This limit is a carrier limit, so T-Mobile has
selected 300k as it's limit for messages.

MMS is really not the best way to transfer items to your phone. The best
method is by cable or Bluetooth, Bluetooth certainly being my preferred
method. If your phone is BT equipped spending $20 or less for a BT adapter
is highly recommended. Not only will you be able to transfer items between
your phone and your PC (yes in both directions) you can also sync your phone
to Outlook and other PIMs.

I seem to remember reading somewhere that the file size is limited.
Perhaps these MP3 files are too big. The one I'm trying now is 238
KB.
