MMS are limited to 300k, although many phones won't allow you to send messages larger than 100k. This limit is a carrier limit, so T-Mobile has selected 300k as it's limit for messages.
MMS is really not the best way to transfer items to your phone. The best method is by cable or Bluetooth, Bluetooth certainly being my preferred method. If your phone is BT equipped spending $20 or less for a BT adapter is highly recommended.
