Sponsored by TWIST - Tablet Weavers International Studies & Techniques

Hi all,

another thing I have: I read a lot on TW issues and do a lot and try a
lot, but now that I tried out nearly every common technique (warp
twinning, double-face, doubled-face 3/1 broken twill, pebble weave,
missed hole etc.). I feel some kind of unsatisfied at the moment,
because only developing new patterns or reweaving existing - or even
historical patterns is not the things I expected after gaining some kind
of experience in tablet weaving.

I really have to say (hello, I confess) that I am jealous of e.g.
Marijke, Peter or Nancy who got the chance to analyze and publish new
findings on tablet weaving. And now I am asking myself what I can do to
increase knowledge on tablet weaving. Well, maybe you can give me some
suggestions, have a good night and all the best from Germany
Guido

P.S.: What I could try (if I want of course) is a 6-holed double-faced
3/1 broken twill with floating brocading on both sides ;-) (that was one
suggestion of participants of a course with Otfried last weekend).
