Agreed ... and sometimes if you set a higher price you'll be surprised and find people will buy them anyway. I don't usually sell. I either weave for friends or trade for goods. However, I put 4 TW bookmarks onto the small sales table. Two were 10/2 cotton in a simple-to-weave threaded-in pattern that probably looks complex to non-TWers, the others were 16/2 cotton in double faced double-turn (what is the preferred term for that technique?). I was persuaded to ask 5 for the threaded-in ones and the smallest double- face one, and 6 for the other one. To my surprise, 3 of them sold. Since they were about 8" long, that would be about 8 a foot, or US $12. -- Jenny Kosarew from England mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Home Page: http://www.whorls.freeserve.co.uk Berkshire Guild Page: http://www.whorls.freeserve.co.uk/guild The Braid Society: http://www.braidsociety.org Send private reply to Jenny Kosarew <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> ----------------------------------------------------------- To stop receiving tabletweaving (not tabletweaving-digest), send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: unsubscribe tabletweaving.
